Deadbeat Super Affiliate

If you’re reading this… you probably work a lot harder than me.

You’re not alone. Even most of the Internet marketing “gurus” who brag about their “lazy” lives work way more than I do… and don’t have much to show for it.

And if that sounds “unfair”… there’s nothing to stop you from joining me.

Because if you’re willing to stop racing around looking for the latest “loophole”, “glitch” or “miracle” to trick Twitter… fake out Facebook… or game Google…

… you’re right where you need to be to take a shortcut straight to the top of the affiliate marketing food chain.

In fact… you can be about the laziest S.O.B. on the planet and pull down a full-time income in as little as 5 hours per week without any of the usual roadblocks in your path…

… even if you’re dead broke… … even if you can’t force yourself out of bed before noon and you can’t concentrate more than 10 minutes at a time… heck,

even if you’re under doctor’s orders to stay in bed all day!

I should know… because that’s exactly where I ended up a few short months ago.

A couple friends convinced me it would be “fun” to take a full-contact Kung Fu class (normally the closest I come to a “sport” is channel surfing)…

…  and this strip-mall dojo instructor did some ninja “hip throw” move and tossed my body up in the air while my leg went the other direction.

Just like that I officially became the least athletic person ever to tear their ACL – some part of the knee I didn’t even know I had until it swelled up to the size of a grapefruit.




It’s usually some super-athlete injury.

Maybe that’s what the surgeon thought I was (hey, Madden is a kind of a sport) when he told me I’d need an intense three hours of surgery.

I’d already been hobbled for a full month before the swelling finally came down when the Doc said:

“Sorry to have to tell you this, but you’re going to have to be out of work for at least a couple more weeks after this,” he said.

I just smiled. He probably thought it was the anesthesia kicking in, but I knew I’d be leaving that operating room richer than when they wheeled me in…

… and even if the doctor ordered me not to get out of bed for the next month or more (like I’d need to be ordered)… I’d still have more than enough cash coming in to pay the bills.

Good thing, too – if I’d had a “real” job… I would have been screwed. Because I spent the next two straight weeks sleeping from all the painkillers they had me hopped up on.

Once in a while, I’d wake up long enough to lean over and check my email on laptop next to the bed.

I couldn’t have done any more “work” than that even if I wanted to.

Still… it turned out...

Member Money Magnet

Chances are, you already know about how popular membership sites are. That kind of residual income is the "be your own boss" dream situation!

So why isn't everybody doing it? If it's such a successful model…then why do people still "go to work"…why not just do this?

The truth? It's not necessarily easy if you try to figure it out on your own. If you've looked into having a membership site of your own before, you know all the decisions you are presented with. It just seems very complicated. And it is, if you don't have any help or experience with building a membership site.

   2. Successful sites must have an angle…a niche.
      You can make a successful membership site about almost any subject. It needs to be something you either know very well or enjoy learning about. The desire to create doesn't automatically breed success, though. You must find a niche market, or a place for your product to thrive. How will you find it? How much do you know about marketing, positioning, sales?
   3. Membership sites require…well…members.
      In order to be successful, you must find paying members. There are many ways to do this. How many loyal followers do you currently have? How many ways do you know to find subscribers?
   4. Successful membership sites have great content in abundance.
      If you're going to be successful, you'll need to generate content regularly. Good content. How do you know what subscribers are looking for? How much is enough? How will you find ideas for fresh, new content? There can be a lot of pressure put on content creation…and writers block is worse when you're under pressure.
   5. There is constant pressure to keep members paying.
      You never know what may cause someone to drop out. If you're going to keep members, you have to constantly monitor, evaluate, and adjust what you give, how you deliver the product, and what your customer base wants.

When Rich first started building autoblogs, life was easy, you could just throw up scraped sites using datafeeds or tools that grabbed yahoo answers, youtube videos etc then add adsense and affilite products and sit back and watch the money roll in.

    Super annoying…

    Deep down though, I knew it wasn’t their fault.  After all, I was already making 6-figures as a work from home pharmacist.

    I mean… to most people, I already had the dream job.

    But what can I say… there’s no way in hell I was gonna work 40 hour weeks, doing a monotonous job I couldn’t stand, for the next 35 years.

    No sir, I wasn’t about to settle.  And neither should you…

    Anyways, back to what I was saying before… with a better outlook, I finally stopped playing victim and started investing in my online marketing education.

    With each course or training program, I picked up new skills and strategies.  Little by little, I started making progress.

    Sure it was slow going, but hey… at least I was gaining some momentum.

    I remained stubborn – kept swiping the ole credit card, buying more courses and adding more tools to my online marketing arsenal.

    Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I was getting pretty damn good at blogging and free traffic generation.

    So good, in fact, I jumped from a few sporadic affiliate sales here and there… to paydays of over $1,000 in the span of a few months

It's not just a passing fad; rather it has become a backbone of our modern society through which we communicate, conduct business, and entertain ourselves.

But what IS virtual real estate?

What makes the difference between profitable websites and unprofitable websites?

While there are many factors that can affect a website's profitability, I've found that in general there are two key ingredients that must be combined to create a successful site...

Content + Monetization = Profitable Site

Whether they realize it or not, most webmasters who are struggling with unprofitable sites are lacking in one of the above areas.

You might be thinking... what about traffic, and SEO, and all that stuff?

Sure that's important too, but it's not the foundation of your business. There are always plenty of ways to get traffic (and I'm going to show you how), but if you haven't built your website on a solid foundation then it will never be as profitable as it could have been.

If your website has poor content and bad design, you can send traffic to it, but it won't take long for your visitors to realize you aren't providing any real value. Chances are, they'll NEVER return.

Similarly, if your website is not properly monetized, you can throw any amount of traffic at it, but you'll always be leaving money on the table.

One problem is that many of us have been pre-conditioned to build bad websites.

Perhaps you've bought into gimmicks, tactics, and page builders that promise the moon. One "guru" says one thing, while another tells an entirely different story.
